Is the multifeeder paper supply sen-
sor flag operating properly?
Is the cable between connector J309
on the DC controller PCB and con-
nector J501 on the sensor PCB
properly connected?
Is the trouble resolved when the sen-
sor PCB is replaced?
13 JAM indicator does not go out

Repair the sensor. If it
is damaged, replace it.
Replace the faulty sen-
sor.

Checks
Are the jam detection sensors below
out of alignment or damaged?
• Pick-up sensor (PS303)
• Registration sensor (PS302)
• Leading edge sensor (PS301)
• Delivery sensor (PS304)
Check each sensor according to the
directions on page 13-127. Are they
normal?
