Reset the cassette.
Reset the paper.
Replace the pick-up
roller.
Replace damaged
gears.
Reconnect the connec-
tor.

Replace the DC con-
troller PCB.
Checks
Is the “No paper message” lit?
Is the pick-up roller rotating?
Is the cassette set properly?
Has too much paper been set in the
cassette? Has the paper been set
properly?
Is the trouble caused by wear, abra-
sion or cracking on the pick-up roller
surface?
Is the trouble caused by cracking or
damage to the gears in the pick-up
drive assembly?
Is connector J306 on the DC con-
troller PCB properly connected?
Is the trouble resolved when the
pick-up solenoid is replaced?
