2.5.3 Controlling the Delivery Motor (M5)
The following is the control circuit of the delivery motor (M5). The delivery motor is a
DC motor, and the circuit is used for the following:
• Turning on/off the motor.
• Controlling the rotation speed of the motor.

The CPU (Q1) on the ADF controller PCB sends the motor rotation speed signal
(EJMPWM*) to the drive control assembly, which in turn generates the motor drive signal
(EJMD*) according to the input signal.
When the motor starts to rotate, the motor rotation signal (EJCLK) is generated. The CPU
monitors the operation of the motor in reference to the motor rotation signal.
