1 Basic Construction

Detach the covers as needed when clean-
ing, inspecting, or repairing the inside of the
machine.
1.1.1 Disconnecting the DADF
1) Turn off the copier.
2) Disconnect the DADF’s communication
cable [1] from the copier.

3) Open the DADF fully.
4) Standing at the rear of the copier, lift
the DADF to detach.
Memo
The hinge foot is equipped with
a locking mechanism, requiring
the DADF to be fully opened
for removal.
