Downloading Images
When you are using Windows Me or Windows XP, you can download images using a wizard,
Explorer or the WIA TWAIN.
Downloading with the Scanner and Camera Wizard
Follow the Wizard’s on-screen messages to download images to the computer. Note that you
cannot download RAW images using the [Scanner and Camera Wizard]. To download RAW
images, use Windows Explorer. (See “Downloading with Windows Explorer” on the next page.)

Connect the camera to your computer.
● For more information on connecting the camera to your computer, see “Connecting
the Camera to Your Computer” (➞2-2).
\ The [Scanner and Camera Wizard] dialog box appears.

Click the [Next] button.

Select the image(s) you wish to download and click the [Next]
button.
● To select multiple images, press
and hold the <Ctrl> or <Shift> key
on the keyboard while clicking on
images. To select all the images,
click the [Select All] button.

Specify a filename and save location and click the [Finish]
button.
● The selected images will be downloaded to the specified folder. If you do not
specify a folder, they are saved by default to the [My Pictures] folder within the
computer’s [My Document] folder.
