Getting Ready to Work with Images
Connecting the Camera to Your Computer
To Start Software Automatically
(Windows 98 SE/Windows 2000)
Use the procedure below when you want software to start automatically without the event
dialog box being displayed.

With the camera connected to your computer, click the [Start]
button and select [Settings] s [Control Panel].

Double-click the [Scanners and Cameras] icon to open.
\ The [Scanners and Cameras Properties] dialog box appears.

Select the [EOS D60] icon and click the [Properties] button.
\ The [EOS D60 Properties] dialog box appears.

Select the [Events] tab.
\ The [Events] tab sheet appears.

Uncheck all the checkboxes other than the software you want to
start automatically and then click the [OK] button.
\ The next time you connect the
camera to your computer, the
selected software will start up
automatically.
● Clicking the [Disable device
events] checkbox, disables auto
start.
