Third-Party Software
The following software is included on the Setup disc. For details on operating the
software, refer to the Help for each software.
• Presto! BizCard
Business card management software from NewSoft Technology Corp.
Run the following installer from the Setup disc to install.
BizCard/BCRInstaller
• Presto! PageManager
Photo and document management software from NewSoft Technology Corp.
Run the following installer from the Setup disc to install.
PageManager/PM8Installer

Connect the scanner to the computer.
IMPORTANT
• Before connecting the scanner to the computer, verify that the power switch
of the scanner is OFF. If the power switch is in the ON position, push the
switch to set it to OFF.
• The shapes of the power plug and power cord differ depending on the country
and region.

Verify that the power switch of the scanner is OFF (O side).

Connect the power cord to the AC adapter.
