Chapter 6
Using Supplementary Features
This section introduces RemoteCapture, a program that enables you to
control a camera from a computer connected to it.
IMPORTANT
•You can only use RemoteCapture if the lens cover or cap is
open, the camera is connected via the USB cable to the
computer and the camera is ready to transfer data. (Some
models may not support this program.)
• Close the Camera window before you start RemoteCapture.

• For detailed information on how to use RemoteCapture, read
the RemoteCapture Help (accessible from the [Help] menu).
Opening RemoteCapture
Check to make sure that the
camera is attached to the
computer and ready to transfer
data, then click the [Edit] menu
and select [RemoteCapture].
When a message appears
indicating that the connection
with the camera is ready, click
[Connect].
