C-6 Troubleshooting
Paper Deck size mis-
match
The paper size set to the paper deck does not match the size
required for the print job.
Paper jam
There is a paper jam in the copier. Open the copier doors and
check the locations indicated on the copier display. The
ColorPASS will resume printing when you have cleared the paper
jam and closed the copier doors.

OTE: If a paper jam occurs when Duplex is sent to Manual, the
message will be displayed on the ColorPASS Control Panel or the
Command WorkStation or Fiery Link window for about five
seconds and the screen returns to Idle.
Place printed pages
face down in MF
drawer
The copier is in the process of manual duplexing. Place the printed
pages face down in the Manual Feed drawer to continue printing.
Power saving mode
The copier is in Power Saving Mode. You must wait for the copier
to warm up before you can print.
Remove paper in
sort bin
The sorter is full. You must remove the paper in the sorter before
starting printing or continuing the job.
Sorter jam
The copier’s sorter is jammed. The ColorPASS will resume
printing when the jam is cleared.
Sorter open
The copier’s sorter unit is in use—possibly someone is removing
paper from the sort bins. Printing will proceed when the sorter
unit is not being used.
Stack curl over
This message is displayed when the duplex sort job has too much
toner and may not sort correctly.
Standby mode
The copier is in standby mode.
Staple curl over
This message is displayed when the staple job has too much toner
and may not staple or sort correctly.
Staple jam
The copier’s stapler unit is jammed. The ColorPASS will resume
printing when the jam is cleared.
Staple request
rejected
The copier is unable to staple the job which you requested stapled.
Stapler Sorter Error
There is an error in the stapler sorter unit.
