25 Setting up PostScript printing with Windows NT 4.0 and/or Windows 2000
The necessary files are installed to your hard disk.
14. If this is the first printer driver you are installing on the computer, you may be
prompted to install files from the Windows 2000 CD. Insert the CD-ROM, browse to the
win2000\english\i386 folder, and then click OK.
When installation is complete, the Printers window appears with an icon for the newly
installed printer. You will now need to configure the options installed on your copier.
To enable Internet Protocol Printing (IPP), see “Setting up IPP printing with
Windows 2000” on page 36.
TO CONFIGURE INSTALLABLE OPTIONS ON THE COLORPASS FROM THE POSTSCRIPT
PRINTER DRIVER FOR WINDOWS NT 4.0 AND/OR WINDOWS 2000:
NOTE: Configuring installable options for Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000
are similar. The following procedure uses Windows NT 4.0 screen captures with
Windows 2000 differences noted.
1. Click the Start button, choose Settings, and then choose Printers.
2. Click the ColorPASS icon, and choose Properties from the File menu.
3. Click the Device Settings tab, and scroll down to Installable Options. Specify the
options installed on the ColorPASS.
