Using a TCP/IP Network
20 If you are using the optional Color Network Multi-PDL Printer Kit
(Standard equipment for the iR C3220N), set a proxy. Otherwise, skip to
step 21.
● If you want to use a proxy:
❑ On the TCP/IP Settings screen, press [▼] or [▲] until [Proxy Settings] appears ➞ press
[Proxy Settings].
❑ Select [On] for <Use Proxy>.
❑ Press [Server Address] to enter a proxy server IP address or name.
❑ Press [Port Number] to enter the port number of a proxy server.
❑ If you want to use a proxy in the same domain, select [On] for <Use Proxy within the Same
Domain>.
❑ Confirm the settings you specified ➞ press [OK].
The display returns to the TCP/IP Settings screen.
● If you do not want to use a proxy:
❑ On the TCP/IP Settings screen, press [▼] or [▲] until [Proxy Settings] appears ➞ press
[Proxy Settings].
❑ Select [Off] for <Use Proxy>.
❑ Confirm the settings you specified ➞ press [OK].
The display returns to the TCP/IP Settings screen.
