NOTE
If you selected [On] in step 2, pressing [OK] activates Department ID Management.
Allowing B&W Copy and Print Jobs without Entering a
Department ID
You can specify whether to accept only black-and-white copy and print jobs when a Department
ID is not entered.
NOTE
The default setting is 'Off'.
1 Press ➞ [System Settings] ➞ [Dept. ID Management].
[On]: The machine accepts print jobs from computers that do not correspond with a
registered Department ID.
[Off]: The machine does not accept print jobs from computers that do not correspond with a
registered Department ID.
[On]: The machine accepts remote scan jobs from computers that do not correspond with a
registered Department ID.
[Off]: The machine does not accept remote scan jobs from computers that do not correspond
with a registered Department ID.
