Allowing B&W Copy and Print Jobs without Inserting a Control
Card
You can set the machine to accept only black-and-white copy and print jobs when a control card
is not inserted.
NOTE
The default setting is 'Off'.
1 Press ➞ [System Settings] ➞ [Dept. ID Management].
2 Select [On] or [Off] ➞ press [OK].
Allow Black Copy/Inbox Print Jobs
Allow Black Printer Jobs
[On]: [Black Copy/Black Inbox Print] appears on the screen for inserting the control card.
[Off]: [Black Copy/Black Inbox Print] does not appear on the screen for inserting the control
card.
[On]: The machine accepts black-and-white print jobs from computers that do not correspond
with a registered Department ID.
[Off]: The machine does not accept black-and-white print jobs from computers that do not
correspond with a registered Department ID.
