Message area: Check Print Server
Error message area: The printer server is down or the server status window is not active.
Indicated when the printer is connected as a network printer, and the status window in the
server is not active.
Message area: Getting status
Error message area: Please wait a moment
Indicated when the port status has not been received, as the local port to which the printer
is connected has just been switched from another printer.
4. Error status
The error status is defined that printer errors occur.
When multiple errors occur, an error with the highest priority will be indicated first. As the
first error is solved, then an error with the next high priority will be indicated.
When errors occur and are solved in the middle of printing, the present page will be resumed
printing.
The following describes the messages for the Status Not Available, from the higher priority to
lower.
Message area: Port Busy
Error message area: The port is being used by another device.
Indicated when the port is being used by another device.
Message area: Network Adapter Error
Error message area : Network adapter or the printer isn't turned on.
Indicated when the network adapter or printer is not turned on, or the printer itself does not
exist.
Message area: Check Printer/Cable
Error message area: Check the following. Is the printer switched on? Is the printer cable con-
nected? Does the printer cable support bi-directional communication?
Indicated when the printer is incommunicable during printing.
This error occurs when the power of the printer fails, when the cable is unconnected, or
when the cable does not correspond to the bi-directional communications.
Message area: Incompatible Printer
Error message area: The wrong printer is connected.
Indicated when the connected printer is not LBP-800.
When you use a printer other than LBP-800, make sure to switch to the driver to which you
are to connect.
Message area: Printer Busy
Error message area: The network adapter is being used by another application for network
setup.
Indicated when the network adapter is being used by another printer on the line connected
to the same computer.
