5) Remove the 3 screws and disconnect
the 2 connectors, and then remove the
scanner mounting unit.

6) Remove the pad fixture on the back of
the printer by sliding it upward.

7) Moving the lifting plate unit in the
direction of the arrow, remove the sep-
aration pad.

8) Remove the spring from the separation
pad.
