Flatbed Scanners
The ScanMaker 9700XL and 9800XL offer affordable tabloid-size scanning
for designers, architects, engineers, or anyone who needs to get large
images into their computer. Scan originals up to 12 x 17˝ with 2400 x
1200 (9700XL) and 3200 x 1600 dpi (9800XL) optical resolution and 48-
bit color for consistently accurate images with the sharpness required for
print and pre-press projects. And if productivity is an issue and jobs need
to get out the door, they can batch scan up to ten 3.5 x 5˝ prints at the
same time. With the optional TMA (transparent media adapter) you can scan positive or negative film as well.
The ScanMaker 9700XL is equipped with a USB and SCSI-2 interface, while the 9800XL adds a IEEE1394 (Firewire) interface
Both scanners come bundled with Adobe Photoshop Elements, Microtek’s ScanWizard Pro and LANShare Network Utility.
