B. Main PCB
The scanner is not equipped with CPU. Control program in the device driver installed in the
host computer includes a control program works as CPU. Control program sends a command
to the ASIC in the main PCB, and the ASIC controls the entire scanning operation.
The main PCB consists of ASIC, DRAM, USB controller, analog I/C and motor driver.
