Getting Started
Plug and Play Installation (Windows XP/Server 2003)
1 Connect the cable from the printer's USB port to the PC's USB port,
and then turn the printer ON.
2 Start Windows, and then insert the Software CD-ROM into the CD-ROM
drive.
The Found New Hardware Wizard starts.
3 Confirm that [Install the software automatically (Recommended)] is
selected ➞ click [Next].
Windows searches for the driver automatically, and then starts the installation.
4 Click [Finish] after the files are copied.
The USB driver and the printer driver are now installed.
