Getting Started
USB Standard Installation
IMPORTANT
•
Before installing a printer driver through a USB connection, turn the printer OFF. Turn the power back
ON only if the instruction to do so appears on the screen during installation.
•
In a USB environment, you cannot set up the printer configuration automatically or use the Job
Accounting feature.
•
To print with the imagePRESS C1, iR C2620, iR C2880, iR C3200, iR C3220, iR C3380, iR C4080, iR
C4580, iR C5180, iR C2570, iR 2570C, iR C3100, iR 3100C, iR C3170, iR 3170C, iR C5800, iR 5800C,
iR C5870, iR 5870C, iR C6800, iR 6800C, iR C6870, or iR 6870C with a USB connection, the USB
interface board (optional) is required.

Start the Installer ➞ follow the instructions in the dialog boxes.
See steps 1 to 5 of "Standard Installation," on p. 2-3.

Select [Install with USB Connection] ➞ click [Next].
