e plastic cover must be remove to reveal the lling holes. Carefully pry it o
with a thin metal blade, such as a thin athead screwdriver. Or lay the car-
tridge on its side with the plastic cap o the edge of a table holding it rmly
then break the seal by striking it with a blunt object. Important: Make certain
that the sensors on the back of the cartridge do not get damaged.

Connect the needle to the syringe and ll with the correct color of ink.

Insert the needle into the hole of the color to be relled, (see diagram above)
and push directly down into the cartridge. Note: You may feel a slight pres-
sure due to the sponge inside the cartridge.

Slowly inject approximately 7 ml. of ink, per color, into the cartridge. Stop
when the ink begins to surface. Important: The sponge inside is white. And
in order to prevent overlling the chamber, the color of the sponge must
remain white. As soon as the ink starts to bubble near the needle then stop
injecting, the cartridge is full.

Rinse the syringe and needle with water and dry between each color relling or
store for future use.

e cover can be reconnected with a piece of adhesive tape.
Note: Immediately rell any cartridge that has become empty.
