FASE 7
Avvitare a mano il tappo (1) sull’estremità dell’asta
ammortizzatore.
Comprimere la molla per rendere accessibile il controdado
(12).
Utilizzando le chiavi dello smontaggio bloccare il tappo
(1) sull’asta ammortizzatore.
Serrare poi il controdado (12) contro il tappo (1).
FASE 8
Lubrificare la guarnizione OR (2) sul tappo (1).
Sollevare il portastelo (6) e imboccarlo sul tappo (1)
facendo attenzione a non rovinare la guarnizione OR (2).
Serrare il tappo (1) sul portastelo (6).
6.4- SOSTITUZIONE ANELLI DI TENUTA
NOTA: Questa operazione non è possibile con steli montati
sul motociclo.
Ricambi necessari: N° 2 anelli di tenuta e N° 2 raschiapolvere
nuovi.
SMONTAGGIO
Eseguire le operazioni dalla FASE 1 alla FASE 4, riportate
al paragrafo 6.3.
FASE 9
Rimuovere con l’utilizzo di un piccolo cacciavite il
raschiapolvere (11) dalla sommità del portastelo (6).
FASE 10
Con lo stesso cacciavite, sfilare l’anello di fermo (10).
FASE 11
Sfilare il portastelo (6) dal tubo portante (28). Per
separare i due elementi è necessario tirarli energicamente.
Con questa operazione verranno rimossi dal portastelo
l’anello di tenuta (9), lo scodellino (8) e la boccola di
guida (7).
FASE 12
Rimuovere la boccola di guida (27) dal tubo portante
facendo leva con l’estremità di un cacciavite piatto inserito
nella fessura della boccola.
Rimuovere poi dal tubo portante la boccola di guida (7),
lo scodellino (8), l’anello di tenuta (9), l’anello di fermo
(10) e il raschiapolvere (11).
STEP 7
Screw the plug (1) on the damper rod by hand.
Compress the spring so that the check nut (12) can be
reached.
Keep firmly the plug (1) on the damper rod with the
wrenches previously used for disassembling the fork
Tighten the check nut (12) on the plug (1).
STEP 8
Lubricate the OR (2) on the plug (1).
Lift the slider (6) and insert it into the plug (1). Do not
damage the OR (2).
Tighten the plug (1) on the slider (6).
6.4- OIL SEAL CHANGE
NOTE: To change the oil seals, the fork legs must be
disassembled.
Seals Required: no. 2 new oil seals and no. 2 new dust
seals.
DISASSEMBLY
Follow the instructions from STEP 1 to STEP 4, as indi-
cated in the above paragraph.
STEP 9
Remove the dust seal (11) from the slider top (6) with a
small screwdriver.
STEP 10
Use the same screwdriver and remove the stop ring (10).
STEP 11
Pull out the slider (6) from the stanchion tube (28). Pull
vigorously to pull the two parts apart. In this way, oil seal
(9), cup (8) and pilot bushing (7) will be removed from
the slider.
STEP 12
Remove the pilot bushing (27) from the stanchion with a
flat screwdriver inserted in the bushing slot.
Then, remove pilot bushing (7), cup (8), oil seal (9), stop
ring (10) and dust seal (11) from the stanchion.
