Installation Instructions

1. Screw the stem into the
fixture. Screw the canopy to the
stem.
2. Mount the mounting
bracket to outlet box using
outlet box screws (not
included). Make sure the studs
or nipple on the mounting
bracket are facing out from the
outlet box.
3. Tighten the centre screw to
lock the mounting bracket in the
correct position.
4. Use the “S” hook to hang the
fixture temporarily as shown for
wiring connection.
5. Connect the ground wires
(bare copper or green) from your
fixture to the ground wire (bare
copper or green) or ground screw
in the electrical outlet box. Attach
the black wire (or wire marked
“SPT-1”) from the light fixture to
the black wire in the electrical box.
Attach the white wire from the
light fixture to the white wire in the
electrical box. Once connections of
wires are completed, carefully tuck
wires and wire nuts into the outlet
box making sure no bare wire (on
the black and white) is visible at the
wire nuts.
6. Remove one screw from the
mounting bracket. Remove “S”
hook. Tuck electrical wires into
outlet box and position fixture over
the mounting bracket. Line up the
screw in the bracket to the "7" hole
on the fixture. Slide fixture to
secure in place. Insert remaining
screw. Tighten both screws to
secure.
7. Attach the stem to the fixture.
Secure the glass in place using the
decorative cap, hex nut, rubber
washer and finial.
8. Install the proper bulb type
and wattage (not included).

BY A PERSON FAMILIAR WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT AND THE
HAZARDS INVOLVED.
3. CAUTION – RISK OF FIRE. CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO ENSURE CORRECT BRANCH CIRCUIT
CONDUCTOR.
4. CONNECT THE GROUND WIRES (BARE COPPER OR GREEN) FROM YOUR FIXTURE TO THE GROUND
WIRE (BARE COPPER OR GREEN) OR GROUND SCREW IN THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET BOX.
5. CLEAN GLASS WITH WATER ONLY.
