2.6 Lightning Rod Installation
Install lightning rod as shown in Figure 2.6-1 and 2.6-2.
1. Carefully mount the lightning rod clamp to the top of the pole (see Figure
2.6-1). Position the clamp so it won’t interfere with the connector cover.

2. Strip 2.54 cm (1”) from the top of the main green 10 AWG tower ground
wire. Insert the exposed wire into the empty clamp opening. Do not
tighten the screw at this time (see Figure 2.6-2).
