LoggerLink Settings
The following settings for LoggerLink can be viewed and/or set
from your device's Settings screen. Tap on LoggerLink under
Apps to display and change the settings.
Auto-Lock Settings: Prevent Auto-Lock
The Prevent Auto-Lock setting will prevent your device
from going to sleep when connected to a datalogger.
PakBus Settings: Global Address
The PakBus address for this device. Each device in a
PakBus network must have a unique address. Valid PakBus
addresses are 1 through 4094. Typically, software such as
LoggerLink should use a value greater than 3999. This is
because, when a neighbor filter is set up, a PakBus
datalogger will answer a Hello message from any device
with an ID greater than 3999, but will ignore devices with
IDs less than 4000 that are not in their neighbor list.
Troubleshooting: Logging Enabled
Enabling logging will create a low level log file of all
communications with a datalogger. Note that enabling
logging will slow down LoggerLink. Logging should only
be enabled, if you are experiencing communication
problems.
You can use the off-line file system to email a log file to
your computer. If you cannot email the log file, iTunes is
required to copy log files to your computer to be viewed.
