5. Retire la pinza roja positiva (+) de
su castillete presionando los mangos y
tirando hacia arriba. Conecte la pinza
roja positiva (+) a la terminal positiva
(+) de la batería para arrancar el
vehículo.
6. Retire la pinza negra negativa (-) de
su castillete. Conecte la pinza negra
negativa (-) al chasis o a una parte de
metal sólida fija del vehículo tan lejos
de la batería como sea posible.
No adjunte la pinza negra a la batería
que quiere reforzar ni a las líneas de
combustible.
7. Si las conexiones han sido invertidas,
el LED rojo de polaridad invertida se
enciende y suena una alarma. Si esto
sucede, invierta las conexiones antes
de seguir.
8. Encienda el interruptor de corriente
de la batería de arranque.
9. Arranque el vehículo. No gire la llave
por más de 3 a 5 segundos.
10. Después de hacer arrancar el vehículo,
apague la batería de arranque. Retire
la pinza negra primero y vuelva a
colocarla en su castillete. Luego retire
la pinza roja y vuelva a colocarla en su
castillete.
Si el motor no arranca, retire primero
la pinza negra y colóquela en su
castillete, luego retire la pinza roja
y colóquela en su castillete. Limpie las
terminales de la batería del vehículo.
Vuelva a conectar las pinzas como lo hizo
en los pasos 4 y 5 e intente arrancar el
vehículo. Si esto no funciona, retire la
pinza negra y luego la pinza roja.
Es posible que el problema no sea que
la batería se haya descargado.
Ocasionalmente es ventajoso dejar que el
arrancador cargue una batería agotada
por varios minutos antes de tratar de
arrancar el vehículo en panne.

La clasificación de salida del inversor
se basa sobre un método de prueba
de laboratorio de 4 horas continuas.
El inversor no trabajará a su máxima
intensidad por 4 horas cuando esté
funcionando sobre la batería interna.
Cuando el inversor trabaja sobre la
batería interna, el tiempo de uso puede
variar según la carga actual del
inversor.
1. Coloque el PowerPal
®
5 en 1 sobre
una superficie plana. Asegúrese de
que la ventilación no esté obstruida.
2. Asegúrese de que el aparato que vaya
a usar esté apagado.
3. Enchufe el cable CA del
electrodoméstico en el tomacorriente
CA del panel frontal (vea la figura 5).
4. Encienda el interruptor de corriente
del inversor. El interruptor se
enciende cuando está en la posición
de encendido (on).
5. Encienda el aparato.
6. Apague el aparato antes de
desconectar el cable del inversor.
7. Apague el inversor cuando no esté
en uso. Los inversores consumen una
pequeña cantidad de corriente aún
cuando no están en uso, y agotan la
batería si no se apagan.
ALARMA DE BAJO VOLTAJE
El inversor tiene una alarma audible
de bajo voltaje que sonará si el voltaje
cae demasiado. Si la alarma suena,
vuelva a encender el motor del vehículo
para cargar la batería del mismo.
FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL INVERSOR
EN EL VEHÍCULO
El inversor también puede funcionar
desde la salida de corriente de 12 voltios
CC de un vehículo. Enchufe un extremo
del cable de carga de 12 voltios CC en la
salida de corriente del vehículo.

a artículos que funcionan con 12 voltios
CC clasificados por debajo de
8 amperios insertando simplemente

Almacenamiento
Este inflador debe almacenarse
a temperaturas entre 19°C (65°F)
y 24°C (75°F). Cerciórese de que el
interruptor esté en OFF (apagado).

Este producto tiene una batería
recargable sellada de plomo-ácido.
Las leyes de protección ambiental en
algunos estados requieren que los

5. Remove the Red Positive (+) clamp
from its holster by squeezing the
handles and pulling straight out.
Connect the Red Positive (+) clamp
to the positive (+) terminal of the
battery to be jump-started.
6 Remove the Black Negative (-)
clamp from its holster. Connect the
Black Negative (-) clamp to chassis
or to a solid, non-moving metal
part of the vehicle as far away from
the battery as possible. Do not
attach the black clamp to the
battery to be boosted or to fuel
lines.
7. The red reverse polarity LED will
illuminate and an alarm will sound
if the connections are reversed. If
this occurs, reverse the connections
before proceeding.
8. Turn the jump starter power switch
on.
9. Start vehicle. Do not turn key for
longer than 3-5 seconds.
10. After vehicle starts, turn the jump
starter power switch off. Remove
the Black clamp first and return it to
its holster. Next remove Red clamp
and return it to its holster.
If engine does not start, remove the
Black clamp first and place it in its
holster, then remove the Red clamp
and place it in its holster. Clean the
vehicle’s battery terminals. Reconnect
the clamps as in steps 4 and 5 and try
to start vehicle.
If this fails, remove the Black and then
the Red clamp. The problem may be
something other than a dead battery.
Sometimes it is beneficial to allow the
jumpstarter to boost the dead battery

3. Turn off COMPRESSOR switch before
removing adapter.
4. Check pressure with a separate tire
gauge.
Always
use a
separate pressure gauge to check the
actual pressure in tires.
INFLATABLES:
1. To use inflation accessories, insert
accessory into the universal adapter
and push the lever to lock into
place (see Figure 2). The inflation
accessory will fit securely.
2. Insert the appropriate inflation
accessory into the inflatable object.
3. Turn on COMPRESSOR switch.
4. When the object is firm, turn the
inflator off. DO NOT OVER-INFLATE
OBJECT.
Always
use a
separate pressure gauge to check the
actual pressure in inflatable.
JUMPSTARTING A BATTERY
INSTRUCTIONS
Wear
ANSI
approved Z87.1 safety glasses when
working with or near lead acid
batteries.
Use only
on
vehicles with 12 volt DC lead-acid
battery systems. Do not connect to a 6
or 24 volt battery system or to a dry
cell battery.
Vehicles
that have
on-board computerized systems may be
damaged if vehicle battery is jump-
started. Before jump-starting, read the
vehicle’s owner’s manual to confirm
that external starting assistance is
advised.
A reverse
polarity
connection (positive to negative) may
cause damage to the unit and may
create a sparking or explosion hazard.
Jumpstart cable clamps must be
connected positive to positive (red
clamp to battery “+”) and negative to
negative (black clamp to battery “-”).
Do not
attempt
to use this unit as a replacement for a
vehicular battery.
It may be
necessary
to clean battery terminals. Be careful to
prevent corrosion from coming in
contact with eyes.
Do not
attempt
to jump-start a frozen battery.
Never
touch
clamps to a metal conductor or to one
another. Dangerous sparks or explosion
could occur, resulting in death or
serious injury. Always store battery
clamps in built-in holsters when not in
use.
This
device is
not certified for marine use.
1. Turn off vehicle ignition and all
vehicle accessories (A/C, radio,
lights, cell phone, etc.). Make sure
vehicle transmission is in Park and
set emergency brake.
2. Make sure area is well ventilated.
Do not smoke, use matches or
cigarette lighter.
3. Place the 5-in-1 PowerPal
®
on a flat,
stable surface near the battery to be
charged. Make sure to keep clamps,
cords, clothing and body parts away
from moving vehicle components.
4. Make sure the jump starter power
switch is turned off (see Figure 4).
