equipment.
The following safety precautions must
be followed at all times along with any
other existing safety rules:
1. Completely read the manual(s)
included with this product carefully.
Be thoroughly familiar with the
proper use of the unit.
2. Do not continue to operate the
inflator after the red battery
indicator light comes on.
3. Only use the enclosed recharging
adapter.
4. Avoid charging the battery at
temperatures below 40°F (5°C)
or above 105°F (40°C).
5. Never operate the inflator near fire,
flammable gas or liquid.
6. Never leave unit unattended while in
use.
7. Protect the unit from rain, snow or
other sources of moisture.
8. Do not put metal objects into the
12 volt DC power outlet.
The 5-in-1 PowerPal
®
battery is not fully
charged. The battery must be charged
using either the 120 volt AC or the
optional 12 volt DC recharging adapter
before the initial use. For best results,
charge the battery in temperatures
ranging from 65°F (18°C) to 75°F (24°C).
Do not
operate
charger if it has received a sharp blow,
been dropped or otherwise damaged in
anyway.
RISK OF EXPLOSIVE GASES!
• Working in the vicinity of a
lead-acid battery is dangerous.
Batteries generate explosive gases
during normal battery operation. For
this reason it is of utmost importance
that each time before using your

Operating Instructions and Parts Manual
• Do not insert foreign objects into
openings or receptacle.
• To prevent overheating, do not block
fan or vents or use near heating
vents.
• Do not use near flammable materials.
• Do not disassemble. Inverter contains
no user serviceable parts. Incorrect
reassembly could result in electric
shock or fire.
• AC receptacle is not grounded.
• Not for use in marine applications.
Inverter
output is
not a true sine wave.
• Use charger for charging a lead-acid
battery only. It is not intended to
supply power to a low voltage
electrical system other than in a start-
motor application. Do not use jump-
starter for charging dry cell batteries
that are commonly used with home
applications. These batteries may
burst and cause injury to person and
damage to property.
• When using inverter to power battery
chargers, monitor the temperature
of the battery charger for the first
10 minutes. If the battery charger
becomes abnormally warm,
disconnect it immediately.

Battery
must be
charged before initial use and if the
yellow light comes on. If the power is
totally drained from the battery and
not recharged, the battery may not be

jump-starter, you read this manual
and follow the instructions.
• To reduce risk of battery explosion
follow these instructions and those
published by the battery manufacturer
and the manufacturer(s) of any
equipment you intend to use in
vicinity of the battery. Review
cautionary marking on these products
and on the engine.
Someone
should be
within range of your voice or close
enough to come to your aid when you
work near a lead-acid battery.
• Have plenty of fresh water and soap
nearby in case battery acid contacts
skin, clothing, or eyes.
• If battery acid contacts skin or
clothing, wash immediately with soap
and water.
Never
smoke or
allow a spark or flame in the vicinity of
the battery. Never expose the battery
to fire or intense heat as it may
explode.
Wear ANSI approved Z87.1
safety glasses when working
with or near lead acid batteries. Avoid
touching eyes while working near
battery. If battery acid enters eye,
immediately flood eye with running
cold water for at least 10 minutes and
get medical attention immediately.
Remove
jewelry
and metal objects when jump starting a
vehicle. They can cause short circuits or
react with battery acid to cause severe
burns.
Avoid
dropping
metal tools on or near battery posts.
They may spark or short-circuit the
system or battery, causing an explosion.
Always
store,
use, and charge unit out of reach of
children.
