11.b.1. In Windows 2000/XP desktop, select Start

Control Panel
11.b.2. Double click Network and Dial-
up
Connections > right click
Local Area
Connections and choose Properties.
11.b.3. Choose Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
and click
Properties

Enter an IP address, subnet mask and Default
gateway. Note that IP address should be
“192.168.0.xx” except “1
92.168.0.2” which is
 RX default IP address.

Enter the Preferred and Alternate DNS server, if
necessary.
11.b.6. Click OK to activate the new IP.
Note:
You have to confirm that IP address has
been correctly set on your computer. On your
windows, click start > run
, type “cmd” at Open
field and press OK button, then type “ipconfig
”
on the DOS prompt, you will see an IP set on
your computer.
