In Windows 2000/XP desktop, select Start >
Control Panel

Double click Network and Dial-up Connections
> right click Local Area Connections
and choose
Properties.

Choose Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click
Properties

Enter an IP address, subnet mask and Default
gateway. Note that IP address should be
“192.168.0.xx” except “192.168.0.2” which is
 RX default IP address.
11.b.5.
Enter the Preferred and Alternate DNS server,
if necessary.
11.b.6.
Click OK to activate the new IP.
You have to confirm that IP address has been
correctly set on your computer. On your windows,
click start > run, type “cmd” at open field, press
OK button, type “ipconfig” on the DOS prompt
and you will see an IP set on your computer.
11.b.7.
Connect the PC Ethernet socket to the video
recording server Ethernet socket at rear panel of
the video recording server with cross-over
Ethernet cable. Check if the {LINK LED} of the
video recording server is ON.
