7.3.DMX & Art-Net Devices
Cameo D4 is cable of sending and receiving DMX from several different devices simultaneously. These can be configured within
the Preferences window. Compatible interfaces include :
Cameo D4 devices over USB
Cameo D4 devices over Ethernet
Art-Net devices (a compatible Cameo D4 device must be connected to enable the Art-Net output)
Available devices are listed on the left, along with the ‘Active’ checkbox showing which devices are currently being used by
Cameo D4. Further information on the selected device is displayed on the right including connection type, serial number,
assigned DMX universe and whether the universe is set as an input or an output.
Art-Net
Cameo D4 can send DMX over Art-Net provided a compatible Cameo D4 device is connected to unlock the Art-Net functionality.
Art-Net devices are detected automatically on the left as with USB and Ethernet devices. The software universe can be mapped
to the corresponding Art-Net universe on the right.
