5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide, powder or water jet. Large-scale fires should be
tackled with water jet or foam extinguisher.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Water jet applied at full power
Special hazard caused by
substance, combustion products
or resulting gases: Flammable carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide may be released.
Special protective
fire fighting equipment: Wear self-contained respirator and full-protection suit.
Further information: Contaminated extinguishing media should be collected separately and
disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal
precautions: Use suitable safety equipment. Do not smoke. Do not eat.
Provide adequate ventilation.
Environmental protection: Do not allow to enter rivers/lakes, drains or underground areas.
Procedure for cleaning/absorption: Clean up using absorbent material (e.g. sand, diatomaceous earth). Small quantities
can be diluted with plenty of water and washed away. Ensure adequate supply
of fresh air.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
For safe handling and storage: Ensure workplace is well ventilated. Keep containers
firmly closed. Do not eat, drink or sniff while using product. Wash hands thoroughly after work
and before breaks.
Store room
and containers: Store in closed containers only. Containers must
be clean, dry and free of rust.
Protection against fire
and explosion: None
Storage requirements: Keep containers in a cool, dark place. Keep in original containers
where possible. Keep containers firmly closed.

Restriction on exposure: NA
General precautions and
hygiene measures: Remove any contaminated, impregnated items of clothing immediately. Keep away from foods,
drinks and animal feed. Wash hands before breaks and
when finishing work. Do not eat, drink, smoke or sniff while using product. Ensure
workplace is properly ventilated.
Respiratory protection: Not required when using product in closed system or in
adequately ventilated room. Respirator required for use over longer periods or intensive exposure.
