Important Information
Severe dehydration and excessive water loss
may cause false low results. If you believe you
are suffering from severe dehydration, consult
your healthcare professional immediately.
Very high haematocrit levels (above 55%)
may cause falsely low readings. Very low
haematocrit levels (below 25%) may produce
falsely high readings. Consult your healthcare
professional if you do not know your
haematocrit level.
If you get results below 3.3 mmol/L
(hypoglycemia) or above 13.3 mmol/L
(hyperglycemia) and do not have symptoms,
first repeat the test. If you do have symptoms
or continue to get results that fall below 3.3
mmol/L or above 13.3 mmol/L, follow the
treatment advice of your healthcare
professional.
