Connect the ODU ground cable to the to the supporting structure grounding
point, within 0.3 meters (1 ft) of the ODU bracket and on the same metal (if
necessary, remove paint and apply anti-oxidant compound first).
Do not attach grounding cables to the ODU mounting bracket bolts, as this
arrangement will not provide full protection.

To prevent corrosion and possible loss of ground continuity, weatherproof the
grounding point.
