Task 1: Connecting to the unit
This task consists of the following procedures:
• Configuring the management PC on page 13
• Connecting to the PC and powering up on page 15
• Logging into the web interface on page 15
Configuring the management PC
To configure the local management PC to communicate with the PMP 450i AP or SM,
follow these instructions:

Click Properties for the Ethernet port.

Select the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item (in Windows 7, this item is called
“Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)”:
