Task 15: Configuring a RADIUS server PMP 450i and PTP 450i Configuration and User
Guide
Beginning with System Release 12.0.2, two RADIUS dictionary files are available
on the Cambium website “RADIUS Dictionary file Cambium” and “RADIUS
Dictionary file – Motorola”.
In addition to a renaming of attributes, the Cambium-branded dictionary file
contains two new VSAs for controlling uplink and downlink Maximum Burst Data
Rate (these VSAs are listed below in Table 60).
If you are transitioning from the Motorola-branded dictionary file to the Cambium-
branded dictionary file, ensure that all RADIUS profiles containing Motorola-
Canopy attribute references are updated to include Cambium-Canopy attribute
references (for all applicable VSAs listed in Table 60). Also, ensure that all
RADIUS configuration files reference the new dictionary file (as an alternative,
operators may rename the Cambium-branded dictionary file to the filename
currently in use by the RADIUS server). Once the profiles are updated and the new
Cambium-branded dictionary file is installed on the RADIUS server, restart the
RADIUS server to ensure that the new VSAs and attribute names are enabled.
