Task 6: Configuring radio parameters
Improved PPS performance of PMP 450i SMs
The PMP 450i provides improved packets per second (PPS) performance of the PMP
450i SMs. Through software enhancements and algorithm efficiencies, the PPS
performance of the PMP 450i SM has been improved to 14000 packets/seconds,
measured through a standard RFC2544 test using 64 bytes packets. With this
enhancement, operators are able to provide higher bandwidth including better VoIP
and video services to end customers using existing SM deployments.
