13.8 Additional Lightning Protection
The following guidelines should be applied in addition to those described in Section 10
”Lightning Protection”.
13.8.1
ODU Mounted Outdoors
Whe
re the ODU is mounted outdoors and is mounted some distance from the antenna, it is
advisable to add additional grounding by utilizing Andrew Assemblies (such as Andrew Type
223158 www.andrew.com
) as shown in Figure 145.
