valves.
Operating principle
A balancing valve is a hydraulic device that regulates the fl ow rate of the
uid passing through it. The fl ow rate is regulated by means of a knob that
controls the movement of a plug that allows the passage of the fl uid. The
ow rate is determined according to the ∆p value measured by two pressure
connectors located on the valve.
Venturi  ow rate measurement device
The 130 series valves are equipped with a fl ow rate measurement device
based on the Venturi effect. The device is incorporated in the body of the
valve upstream of the valve plug.
Memory Stop
The 130 series balancing valve features a memory stop that allows
the valve to be reopened to the initial position if it has been closed
for any reason such as isolating components in the balanced circuit.
Locking the position to be memorized requires the use of a 2.5 mm
hex key.
