2 DIRT SEPARATORS The vertical DIRTCAL® dirt separator efficiently removes small dirt particles with significantly less clogging of the internal mesh element compared to normal Y-strainers. Additionally, the large dirt collection chamber requires less frequent cleaning, which can be done by simply opening the drain cock to discharge the accumulated dirt particles, even with the system running. The special internal shape of the separator body is designed to maximize fluid flow rate with low head loss.
