Rate Function
The rate function allows you to multiply
a dimensional value by a “per unit” rate.
The result is displayed as a total cost value
instead of a dimensional value.
Rate Calculation Example 1
A chartering service charges 10 dollars per
hour. What is the charge for 12 hours, 23
minutes, and 30 seconds of service?
Steps/Keystrokes Display
1. Clear calculator:
[On/C] [On/C] 0.
2. Enter time and multiply by rate:
12 [Hr] 12: HR
23 [Min] 12:23: HR MIN
