6) Once the desired value has been
set, press [Set] to store the value
and exit the programming mode.
Press [Rcl] [Scale] to verify the current
custom scale.
Using the Custom Scale/Ruler
The default value (after a full reset) for
any custom scale is one-to-one (one
foot equals one foot). This lets you use
your Scale Master II as a rolling ruler (in
Feet-Inches), which is especially useful
for measuring irregular shapes.
1) To reset your custom scale setting
to a one-to-one ratio, press [Reset]
and [Sub] simultaneously.
2) Then press the [Mode] key until the
“Custom” mode appears.
Begin rolling. To roll in decimal feet in-
stead of feet-inches (Imperial only),
press [Sub] and [Scale] simultaneously.
