COMPOUND MITER
Compound Miter Cuts
You’re installing crown moulding on the upper wall of your living
room. If the wall corner angle is 60° and the crown angle is 38°, find
the miter angle cut and blade tilt cuts.

1. Enter and store crown angle:

2. Enter wall (corner) angle and calculate miter gauge from 0°:

3. Calculate miter gauge angle from 90°:

4. Calculate blade tilt angle:

 BUTT 45.92°
6. Display stored crown angle:

7. Display entered wall angle:
 WALL 60.00°
