If you know your Thread Size, you can nd the Best (Ideal),
Maximum and Minimum Wire Sizes you can use for that size
Screw Thread.
Find the Ideal (Best), Maximum and Minimum Wire Sizes for
measuring a 3/8 Inch Thread with 16 Threads per Inch:

3-Wire Measurement – Known Thread Size and Wire Size
You can nd the 3-Wire Measurement as well as the Pitch
Diameter if you know the Thread Size and the Wire Size you
want to use.
Note: When solving for 3-Wire Measurement and Pitch Diameter,
the Thread Classication must be set to an External Thread Type.
Otherwise, no solutions will be provided when set to an Internal Thread
Type.
