eliminateunnecessarydisruptionoftrafficontheexistingnetworkwhileyou
becomefamiliarwiththeViperSC+,youshoulduseanetworkIPsubnet
addressthat
doesnotoverlapwithsubnetscurrentlyinuseinyourtestarea.
Antenna&AttenuatorConnection
AnRx/Txantennaisrequiredforbasicoperation.Assembleantennaand
connectorsasshownintheaccompanyingfigure.Antennaandconnectorsare
soldseparately.
Note:Itisimportanttouseattenuationbetweenalldemounitsinthetest
networktoreducetheamountofsignalstrengthinthetestenvironment.

AccessingtheViperSC+WebServer
TheViperSC+isconfiguredviaaWebbrowserinterfaceandcontainsaDHCPserver
whichwillautomaticallyassignanIPaddresstoyourPC,howeverinsomecasesitmaybe
necessarytochangethenetworksettingsonthePCtoaccepttheIPaddressassignedby
theViperDHCP
server.
Step1 EnableanetworkconnectionwiththefollowingLANsettings.IntheInternet
Protocol(TCP/IP)Propertieswindow,selectObtainanIPaddressautomaticallyand
ObtainDNSserveraddressautomatically.ClickOKandclose.
Step2 OpenaWebbrowserandenter192.168.205.1intheAddressbar.Whenthe
connectionLoginwindowappears,entertheUsername:AdminandthePassword:
ADMINISTRATOR(bothAdminandADMINISTRATORarecasesensitive)andclickOK.
ViperSC+WebInterfaceandSetupWizard
OnceyouhaveloggedinyouwillseetheHomepageoftheViperWebInterfaceasshown
inthefollowingfigure.Arrangedverticallyontheleftsideisthemainnavigationmenu.
Forquicksetup,selectSetupWizard,thebottomselectionofthemainmenu(totheleft).

followingfigure.Readtheinstructionscarefully.
TheSetupWizardconsistsoffive(5)steps.Eachstepispresentedasasinglepagewitha
fewsimpleoptionstofillinorselectfrom.EachofthefivepagesforeachstepoftheSetup
Wizardcontainthebasicconfigurationsettingsthataremostcommonlyrequiredto
