RoutesmatchingthisdestinationIPaddresswillberoutedtothestaticroutedefinedintheLocalIPaddressfield.

 IPSubnetMask:
Setsthesubnetmaskofthe
destinationnetwork.

 Gateway:
Setsppp(thisrouter'swirelessinternetconnection),pptp(VPN),GRETunnel,orthelocalnetworkIPaddressfor
thegatewaytothedestinationnetwork.

 GatewayIPAddress:
ThisisonlyusediflocalIPaddrwasselectedforgateway.Entertheaddressofthe
localgateway.

 Metric:
Enteravaluefrom1to20.Thelowerthemetricvalueentered,thehighertheroutepriority.
TheADDbuttonmustbepressedtoaddtheconfiguredroutetotheStaticRouteTable.
Asanexample,ifarouterconnectedontheEthernetsideof
themodemhasagatewayIPaddressof192.168.1.2andis
interfacedtonetwork192.168.2.0thefollowingwouldbeenteredintheStaticRouteTabletoallowadevicetogetonthe
192.168.2.0network.SettheRouteNumberto1,nametheRoute(i.e.Route1),setthedestinationIPAddress
to
192.168.2.0,settheIPSubnetMaskto255.255.255.0,settheGatewayIPAddressto192.168.1.2,andsettheMetricto1.
