4.7.3.7 Setup (Advanced) ► Time Source
To facilitate tracking of events in a network, the Paragon3 base station and the GeminiG3 unit can initial-
ize their real-time clocks using a number of protocols. At reset time, the Paragon3 can use the SNTP pro-
tocol (RFC2030) to pick up the current UTC (Universal) time. Setting the “TimeZone” and “Daylight
Savings” options allows displaying the correct local time in the “Unit Identification and Status” page.
