5.3.2 Activation
SIM configuration parameters (refer to Figure 12)
To change PIN Code:
1. Enter your old code under “Old Pin Code”
2. Enter your new code under “Pin code (CHV1)
3. Click Save
Pin unblock code: The code required to unlock a GSM SIM card that was disabled after an
incorrect PIN code was entered three times in a row. To unlock it use the PUK code (Personal
Unblocking Key) which was provided by your carrier upon purchasing the SIM card. If you have lost
the PUK code, you may contact your carrier in order to retrieve it.
Note that service provides impose a limit on how many times in a row you can enter an incorrect
PUK code before the SIM card becomes invalid (cannot be unlocked). Check with your carrier for
additional information.
SIM unlock code (MEP): The code required to unlock the modem for a given region (band). You
must contact the carrier (service provider) to obtain the network MEP code.
