Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting
If you are having a problem with uploading music to Gobbler, don’t panic. This section lists some
common problems and how to solve them.
Confirm your Gobbler account settings
Make sure that your provided the correct e-mail address and password when signing in to your
Gobbler account. If you cannot remember your username or password, you can request this
information to be sent to you by going to www.gobbler.com.
Modify your anti-virus software settings
If you use an anti-virus software program, make sure it is not blocking uploads.
If you use AVG, go to Settings and disable the Linkscanner, Resident shield, Surf Shield, and
Webshield.
For Kaspersky, Avast, and all other software, try disabling the program entirely for the duration of the
upload.
Finally, disable Flashblock and AdBlockers and add gobbler.com to your list of trusted sites.
Check your Internet connection
Make sure your computer has an active Internet connection.
Upload disruptions can be caused by a weak or intermittent Internet connection. If possible, use a
cable connection rather than Wi-Fi, especially when uploading large files. Even a short Wi-Fi
connection time-out can interrupt the upload.
