Sharing your songs on SoundCloud
SoundCloud is an online music sharing service that allows you to upload and share your music with
others online. SONAR has integrated support for uploading audio to the SoundCloud service.
SoundCloud offers many ways to share your sounds online, including:
• Host your sounds on SoundCloud.com.
• Share your sounds on many of the most popular social networking Web sites, including Facebook
and Twitter, making it easy to promote your music.
• Download public or private audio files from other SoundCloud users. This is a great way to
collaborate with others.
• Allow anyone, or only specific people, to access and comment on your sounds.
An active Internet connection and free SoundCloud account are required in order to use this feature.
If you do not already have a SoundCloud account, you can quickly create a new account from
SONAR’s SoundCloud Client. SoundCloud offers free accounts and a selection of pay accounts
depending on your required upload and download bandwidth.

Note: You must create a SoundCloud account in order to upload files to SoundCloud, but it is
not necessarily to have a SoundCloud account in order to listen to public content on
SoundCloud.com.
