6.2.9 Generating Yellow alarms
It is possible to generate Yellow (remote) alarm on each T1/E1/PRI port by pressing a Start button
on Tools sub-tab.
7. Chapter : Upgrading PSTN simulator firmware
Virtual console is constantly working on adding new features to its products.
Please check http://www.vconsole.com for the latest rmware updates for your PSTN simulator.
There is a separate rmware le for 8 port FXS chassis and for PRI module. If your simulator has a
PRI module installed, make sure that you update PRI rmware as well. After upgrading a rmware for FXS
and/or PRI, always use a latest Manager application which is available for downloading from www.vconsole.
com.
To determine the current version of FXS or PRI module rmware use a PSTN Manager log window output:
