Communicator codes for slow speed formats only
LOCATIONS 56-83 ARE ONLY USED WHEN REPORTING EVENTS TO A PAGER, OR
WHEN USING A SLOW FORMAT SUCH AS 4+2. WHEN USING CONTACT ID OR SIA,
THERE IS NO NEED TO PROGRAM THESE LOCATIONS.
LOCATION 56 - ALARM/RESTORE COMMUNICATOR CODE, SLOW SPEED FORMATS ONLY (8
segments, numerical data)
Location 56 contains the event code for any zone “Alarm” and “Restore” for a 4+2 and
3+1 format. For a 4+2 format, the digit programmed in this location will be sent as the
tens digit of the alarm event code. As ones digit, the zone number (1-8) will be reported
(e.g. zone 1 = 1, zone 8 = 8).
This location contains 8 segments but only segment 1 and 5 are used.
Segment 1 contains the alarm code for zone 1 to 8.
Segment 5 contains the restore code for zone 1 to 8.

LOCATION 57 - BYPASS COMMUNICATOR CODE, SLOW SPEED FORMATS ONLY (8 segments,
numerical data)
Location 57 contains the event code for a zone “Bypass” with a 4+2 and 3+1 format. For
a 4+2 format, the digit programmed in this location will be sent as the tens digit. As ones
digit, the zone number (1-8) will be reported (e.g. zone 1 = 1, zone 8 = 8).
When unbypassing a zone, the restore code of location 56 will be used.

LOCATION 58 - TAMPER COMMUNICATOR CODE, SLOW SPEED FORMATS (8 segments,
numerical data)
Location 58 contains the event code for a zone “Tamper” with a 4+2 and 3+1 format. For
a 4+2 format, the digit programmed in this location will be sent as the tens digit. As ones
digit, the zone number (1-8) will be reported (e.g. zone 1 = 1, zone 8 = 8).
To report a restore, the restore code of location 56 will be used.
